These are high quality, warm, comfy, wool socks for a bargain price. I’ve been wearing a couple of pairs of these for many years in the winter and they’ve held up very well. Honestly, I couldn’t remember where I bought them or else I would have bought more long ago. I saw them online only here. I’ve purchased far more expensive wool socks (around 550/pair) from Smartwool and those are good but not any better than these. Plus these mid-weight socks are thick enough to be warm, yet not so thick to require shoes/boots 2 sizes up like the really heavyweight boot socks on the market (which are legitimately warm and are great for boots but awfully clunky for shoes). The key here is they are 80% wool, which is a higher wool quotient than anything in this price range. The important thing to remember is not to put them in the dryer, which will shrink and ruin wool socks. I find they launder just fine in warm water; I air dry them and they’ve been good to go for years and years. I can’t recommend them enough.
